1. Start your version of 3d studio max.

2. load your model to render.

3. first you render it normal, and then go to render options and check "Force wireframe". and now render again. both those times you have to save pic in seperate files.

4. Exit 3D studio max.

5. load photoshop.

6. open both wire and solid image that you just rendered in 3D studio max.

7. copy and paste one over another (Wire over solid).

8. in layers tab click on "Layer 1" and then click on "Layer Mask" button as showed on Down pic.

9. now, you can use any tool for painting. the best ones are Gradient tool and paintbrush tool.

10. now, you have your wireframe to solid transition...
