OK start with a square image, your choice. I did 400 x 400 pixels and a white background. |

Using the dots you created in the other tutorial (here) as a fill/pattern |

Make a new layer & fill your new layer with the pattern. You could also use the round marquee selection tool to make a sphere with no back. |

Now you can use the round marquee selection tool to get a nice circle ( hold down shift to get a even circle). |

Now goto FILTER>DISTORT>Spherize |

Amount - 100% |

This is how your masterpiece should look at this point if it does not.. don't worry :D

here is an example.. in this example I did not fill the whole image with the pattern, I made a round selection with the elipticle marquee tool (round) and did a fill with my pattern.
