This tutorial is usefull for creating an interface pattern,
I hope I can explain it clearly here. Anyway, at first you have to understand
smooth edges tutorial, otherwise....it won't came out good. Everytime
I type SMOOTH, then you have to smooth it with some steps from the smooth
tutorial.
If you have any question, don't hesitate to ask me....I
would love to help :) Enjoy
1) Create a new layer and an interface...with any style....hehe :)
Mine...fig 1, then SMOOTH it (fig
2)

2) Ctrl+click that layer, then go to Select > Modify >
Contract (I used 8 pixels :: fig3). Create a new layer then fill it with WHITE
(fig 4). Copy that new layer for future
use (**look at layers window fig

We
gonna start working on Layer 3 copy..... Fig 5
3) Now select Elliptical Marquee Tool then create a
circle with shift key press down on the center of the interface.
(fig 6)...then delete the selection area
by hit delete key & SMOOTH it
(fig 7)

4) While in that layer (**Layer 3 copy**) , create another
smaller circle than the prev one (Fig
